- We are not medical professionals and are not responsible for any medical advice given on these boards. Appropriate medical professionals should be consulted regarding addiction and addiction recovery.

- No flaming, spamming, or anything of the likes will be tolerated.

- The focus of these message boards is for people who are in Medication Assisted Treatment. While posters are more than welcome to do whatever works for them in their recovery of course--and it's not a problem for someone to simply mention that 12-step group attendance was or was not helpful to them--it is COUNTER to this Board's purpose to push, urge or encourage other posters to attend such meetings, or to provoke discourse on why such meetings should be or must be a part of one's recovery, how we should integrate with 12 step programs, etc.

- Please watch your language! Language matters! Please refrain from calling Methadone "Meth." Drug screens are positive/negative not dirty/clean. We taper or withdrawal - not "detox." We are patients - not "clients."
